He is resident in the UK and currently leads the TACC Communities in the United Kingdom and Kenya communities. Together with District Apostle Chingombe, He leads communities in Region 2 in Zimbabwe (consisting Mashonaland West, Central and East provinces; Manicaland province, Harare metropolitan and Chitungwiza city

Born in Zimbabwe, was baptised at an early age at (about 5yrs old)in Roman Catholic Church, had stints in Zion Christian Church in Zimbabwe before becoming a member of TACC in October 1993. He was made a Deacon in 1996; a Priest in 1997; A Community Elder in 2001; a District Elder in 2003; an Overseer in 2005 and an Apostle in November 2006.

He moved to Harare as a Deacon in 1996 to join a TACC branch in Chitungwiza. The community was very small with less than 30 members. He established a sub-community in Zengeza 4. As a Priest he served Chitungwiza and Mbare communities. He was influential in working with the youth and a key output was recording an album – Vakamuramba with TACC Testifying Brothers and Sisters. A much bigger achievement was revivifying Mbare community at a time when it was left with 5 members to become a mother community of all communities in Harare. Mbare which is one of Harare’s oldest suburbs was a strategic community for the whole Harare region (including Glen Norah, Epworth, Warren Park, Mufakose and Dzivarasekwa) emerged from there. As a Community Elder he revived Marondera Community which was facing difficulties at that time. As a District Elder he oversaw the establishment of St. Mary’s Community out of the main Chitungwiza (opened by the then Priest Harrison) which is the nucleus community of Chit B and Harare South.

As an Overseer he worked in Chitungwiza, Glen Norah and Marondera, Dzivarasekwa 1 (part of the current Warren Park). These are the same communities he served as a District Elder. As an Apostle he serves the UK communities. The community in UK was largely fragmented; he has worked to make it stand and move forward in the work of Christ. Apostle Mashonga evangelised and opened Communities in Kenya which are in Western province in Kakamega, in Kisii, Mombasa in Nairobi and of late Tanzania.
