Chief Apostle

Prof Dr. Caesar Nongqunga is the Chief Apostle of Twelve Apostles’ Church in Christ worldwide. He was made a Deacon in 1980; a Priest in 1982; A Community Elder in 1984; a District Elder in 1984; an Overseer in 1986, an Apostle in 1991 and Chief Apostle in 1994.

Apostle Mashonga

Apostle Ngwarati Mashonga was anointed as an Apostle on the 19th of November 2006 in Mthatha, South Africa. He is resident in the UK and currently leads the TACC Communities in the United Kingdom and Kenya communities. Together with District Apostle Chingombe, He leads communities in Region 2 in Zimbabwe (consisting Mashonaland West, Central and East provinces; Manicaland province, Harare metropolitan and Chitungwiza city

Born in December 1973, Apostle Ngwarati L. Mashonga was anointed as an Apostle on that Divine day of the 19th of November 2006 in Mthatha stadium, South Africa. He is a holder of a M.Sc. in Supply Chain and international Logistics (University of South Wales), B Com degree (with specialisation in transport economics) (UNISA), a trained motorcycle mechanic. He has been a resident of the United Kingdom since 2007 from which he also led the congregants in Zimbabwe & Kenya until August 2022. From September 2022 from the proclamations of the Chief Apostle he was assigned to focus on United Kingdom and Kenya communities.

As an Apostle he started to evangelise beyond the borders of Zimbabwe (where he was born), Establishing communities since United Kingdom (2007), Established Kenya communities (2007) and Established a community in Tanzania (2015).

He was born in Zimbabwe, where he was baptised in 1979 when about 5yrs old in a Roman Catholic Church in Gwanda Town. Attended Catechism sessions at St Anthony’s Musiso Catholic Church between 1981-1987. Had a stint with the Zion Christian Church and the Catholic Church in Zaka from 1987- 1991, Masvingo. He became a member of TACC in October 1993 in Masvingo City and was sealed at Civic Centre Masvingo the following year. He was appointed a Deacon in 1996 at DDF hall Masvingo; anointed a Community Priest in 1997; Anointed a Community Elder in 2001 in Mucheke Hall Masvingo; a District Elder in 2003 in Masvingo stadium the same day Zimbabwe received the first gift of an Apostle (three Apostles were anointed); anointed an Overseer (Bishop) in 2005 in Bulawayo and an Apostle in November 2006, Mthatha stadium, South Africa to become the fourth Apostle in Zimbabwe.

He first moved to Chitungwiza City from Masvingo as a Deacon in 1996 to join a TACC branch in Chitungwiza. The community was small with less than 30 members. He helped establish a sub-community in Zengeza 4 and then Unit J Seke. As a Community Priest he served Chitungwiza, Mbare, to include establishing Glennorah communities (High density suburbs of Harare). Worked with the youth helping them to record the music album “Vakamuramba” with Testifying Brothers and Sisters (TBS) which enjoyed national air play on both radio and TV helping to create awareness of the existence of TACC in Zimbabwe. Helped on the revival of Mbare community located in Harare’s oldest suburb initiating its ability to become a mother community of most communities in and around Harare due to its strategic for the whole of Harare region (including Glen Norah, Epworth, Warren Park, Mufakose and Dzivarasekwa). As a Community Elder helped the revival of Marondera Community and simultaneously helping the expansion of Acturus community. As a District Elder oversaw the expansion of Marondera, Chitungwiza and Glennorah and establishment of other branches e.g. St. Mary’s Community out of the main Chitungwiza which is the nucleus community of Chit B and Harare South. In 2005 continued to work on the same communities as an Overseer (Bishop).

As an Apostle from 2007 worked in Zimbabwe with District Apostle Chimombe in the former Region 2 of Zimbabwe up to 2022. From 2007 actively worked to open new TACC branches outside the borders of Zimbabwe, moved to UK in 2007 where he helped to reestablish the UK community and simultaneously also establishing new TACC branches in Kenya and Tanzania. In Kenya from 2007, he travelled far and wide working with several Bishops, Pastors from Pentecostal churches and Indigenous churches, Brothers and Sisters to establish TACC branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kakamega, Mumias, Busia, Kisumu, Butere, Kisii, Seme, Siayaya etc. He has so far held church services in Zimbabwe Malawi, Lesotho, Kenya, Tanzania and Liberia and has conducted sealing services in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Lesotho, Tanzania and United Kingdom.
